HOW THE HELL IS THIS MOVIE SO UNKNOWN?!?
An absolutely thrilling noir with great performances, gorgeous black and white visuals, a fantastic jazzy score, and so many little details that makes this David Lynch fanboy repeatedly double take. Ross Martin is such an incredible villain, legitimately scary, sadistic, and utterly unnerving. It's quite amazing that Blake Edwards followed up Breakfast at Tiffany's with this film.
My dad talked about catching this movie when he was fairly young and how he never could find a proper release of it. He finally got to watch it again after all this time due to the Criterion Channel's Blake Edwards Spotlight. Criterion seriously needs to do a proper Blu-Ray release for this movie! More people need to see this!
