A slow and bit sleepy start turns into one of the best pictures I've seen from Wilder. Cagney is amazing the gags you come to love from Wilder's writing are apparent here. The final hour is a thrill I would put it up there with other Iconic wilder sequences like the end of Witness For The Prosecution. It is so chaotic and so fun to watch with the goofy score in the background as they try to race the clock before Scarlett's father gets to Berlin. Amazing and an underrated classic as this gets overlooked compared to Some Like It Hot (1959) and The Apartment (1960)

"Mother of Mercy, is this the end of Rico?"
A rapid fire comedy with an absolutely incredible script. One of Wilder's best, I loved all the previous film references. The script is elevated from how good it already was from the performances from the actors, James Cagney is incredible here.
