What a coincidence to find this movie

I first watched this film during my senior year of high school, and now, rewatching it as a senior in college, it feels like a completely new story. 

I have a deep love for this film - not only because of the creativity poured into every frame but also for its message of connection. While I didn’t exactly experience a rose-colored campus life, the journey has never been dull. This film once again reminds me…. that optimism leads the way!

There’s a lot happening in this movie, and I like it. what a fun 90 min from Masaaki Yuasa

Came across this movie by “koi-incidence,” and boy was this a roller coaster, I don’t even know which part to say resonated with me the most because so much happened it doesn’t make sense how there was still a coherent story, but the way it talked about feelings and that scene showing how cluttered a persons mind can be and how sometimes you just need to take the leap was probably what resonated with me the most.

The soundtrack in this movie wasn’t what I would consider amazing but it perfectly fit the vibe, it was the most whimsical soundtrack I’ve ever heard tho. 

“How am I supposed to survive this world being the best at being without.” Really stuck with me.

Move forward a little at a time.
