i love riz ahmeds work and i definitely had to watch a south asian modern reinterpretation of hamlet, it felt really fitting actually. i think theatre tragedies kind of feel woven into desi familial conflict. it made me think a lot of my own grief and difficult relationships in my own family ,, do i turn it into a screenplay instead?

Not the biggest fan of the "to be or not to be" behind the wheel of a BMW and last third dragged a teeny bit BUT

if you don't take this too seriously it's lowkey a peak comedic retelling.
