The Son of Kong
First half is quite poor, 35 minutes of nothing really however it picks up quite a bit in the second half which levels it out to bang on average.

The Son of Kong
" Skipper, believe it or not, there's a little Kong! "
" What? A little K -... How little? "
" Well, just a little one... about twelve feet high. "

you can feel they wanted to ride the wave of the first film , and honestly it shows , but there’s something oddly endearing about this little follow-up.
It never reaches the scale or the magic of what came before , yet seeing the baby Kong trying his best still got to me more than I expected.
It’s rougher and smallerbut there’s a quiet charm in watching a creature who didn’t ask for any of this try to be brave anyway.
