Hmmm not sure what to make of this one. It's superbly acted, no doubt and as an overly melodramatic melodrama, it succeeds. That says it definitely felt overlong to me. Once something happens in this movie, I kinda stopped being all that interested and all the movie had to offer was just some kinda meh dramam for an hour. It picks up again towards the end though. Also something about the story, especially the beginning of It, kinda irks me the wrong way. Yeah idk but at least Laurence Olivier was absolutely amazing from start to end
