Alright I’ve officially watched all of the major film adaptations of Little Women. I don’t think any of them really touch Gerwig’s, buttt Elizabeth Taylor might be my favorite Amy.

gorgeous gorgeous movie but so much of the time it feels like the heart is missing? i wanted to love this adaptation. jo felt miscast. elizabeth taylor as amy is everything. i love when classics have multiple adaptations because you can see exactly what the newer ones pull from the earlier for inspiration for their own take. maybe i’ll revisit this one in a few years and love it
