Doctor Who: Genesis of the Daleks
drawcinema summary:

One of the best 4th Doctor stories. Also, the second Classic Who serial I have seen.

It's similar to Planet of the Daleks, but with more time travel and moral thought. If you knew someone was going to grow up to be evil, would you kill them as a child to prevent so many deaths in the future?

Davros is a compelling villain. And to see him get killed by his own creations is karma on another level.

If the 6th, 7th, 9th, or War Doctor were in this moment, they would definitely blow up the Daleks.

Doctor Who: Genesis of the Daleks
When any documentary about the show history talks about this one iconic moment, they miss the details that
a) the doctor is on the verge of destroying not the entire Dalek race, but one incubator, and a bunch of Daleks already exist by that point
b) he changed his mind after 15 minutes and returned to finish the job.
For me this speech doesn't works in the context as the story in its whole (even though it was enjoyable enough). Even the sontaran experiment showed the danger of what was happening better, genesis feels just silly and not in a good way

Doctor Who: Genesis of the Daleks
Michael Wisher = Best Davros

The 90 minute version was in cinemas so it counts as a theatrical film.
