Similar to The Revenant- a cold revenge/escape story. Loved the end titles where it gave information about what happened after the film. Specifically where it said “World War 2 ended 8th May 1945”
Which, #1, is horrifically insulting to the audience. If you’ve just chosen to sit through 2hrs and 15 minutes of WW2 drama, surely you would trust your viewers to know when the war ended. At least roughly?
#2 it’s not even correct. World War 2 actually ended on the 2nd September 1945.
Small gripe but rubbed me the complete wrong way. It’s also too long for its own good, maybe it’s just not for me. Some pretty decent action scenes but seemingly confused on which tone it wanted to go for.
