It’s an ok movie with an two powerful leads.

Mae West is epic!! I haven’t seen her in anything before but she delivers her lines with such pizzazz, she’s fun to watch on screen. It’s also fun to see an early Cary Grant test out his acting chops. It’s fun to see the two of them together on screen, it’s like a charisma-off.

The pre-code stuff is also fun, when they’re always alluding to hooking up and she’s getting changed in front of a man. That stuff wouldn’t fly a year later!

I didn’t care much for the plot, but it was an interesting watch for the reasons I mentioned.
