What this movie truly succeeds at is being pretty ridiculous, while still having an appealing charm. The three leads are fantastic, particularly Maggie Cheung as Thief Catcher.

The stunts are so overexaggerated with obvious wires that it become absolutely hilarious. I wish I connected with the movie more as there are significant parts that do drag for me. Otherwise, this is a pretty fun time.

This movie has to hold the world record for movie with the most amount of people falling from high distances bc why where their so many people falling off of buildings and cliffs, many for really no logical reason either?!?

This film was assigned for a class, I almost didn’t get around to it purely bc of how overwhelmed I’ve been w all my work… However I decided to watch it last minute and holy shit am I glad I did, what a gem. There is so much random hilarious shit going on in this movie. I had so much fun watching this.
