The Heroic Trio
Closer to a 2.5 than a 3.5> Wire-Work: The MovieThis movie was pretty fun, and got some good reactions out of me and my friends. I also got the opportunity to turn over to my friends during a certain scene involving children and see both the reaction of someone who knew it was coming, and another who, like me, was horrifically confused.

What this movie truly succeeds at is being pretty ridiculous, while still having an appealing charm. The three leads are fantastic, particularly Maggie Cheung as Thief Catcher.

The stunts are so overexaggerated with obvious wires that it become absolutely hilarious. I wish I connected with the movie more as there are significant parts that do drag for me. Otherwise, this is a pretty fun time.

The Heroic Trio
Most of the movie was like a 3.75/5 for me
But the last 20 minutes was a 10000000000000/5

After watching this, I’m getting the strange urge to cast Maggie Cheung in my experimental remake of a vampire movie from the 1910s…
