Normally I rank the individual stories but honestly I could not really remember any of them I just couldn’t get into this film which is a shame as I love mythology and folklore but nothing other than the wine goblin really seemed to get my attention

Of all 8 shorts, I find Ashim Ahluwalia's (THE PALACE OF HORRORS) the most compelling; including the stylistic choice to keep it entirely in B&W. The remaining shorts didn't intrigue or spark any interest in following along, speculating or even analyzing.

overall, it lacks. but can evrenol, ashim ahluwalia and peter strickland outsold. THAT'S how you do horror. and if heaven is merciful i hope to efface america's contribution from my memory it was so awful.
