this sucks shit but it's not that bad. to me. like they tried and that's what counts. i've seen worse movies. mostly suffers from having no driving force because there is literally no way to escape (and they don't believe there's a way to escape), no traps really, and no threat of death by starvation or dehydration. just wandering the hypercube. average day.

highlights:- three screenwriters for this film 😭- spinning corpse sex (never addressed again)- second ADs were named september death and effy papadopoulos

What's the meaning of the cube.

The meaning of the cube is that the cube is life itself. To embrace life is to embrace the very truth of meaninglessness.

Nothing matters, and there's a beauty in that. The beauty of nihilism is man's greatest accomplishment since the development of capitalism. Without both of these very essentials to human intellect we wouldn't be as progressive or understanding of each other as species. This film expresses the horror of what matters what isn't or isn't taken away. But why can't we just face the facts of our most prized capabilities to make as much alternative parallel universes as much as we desire.

The cube didn't make you, it is you. Your life is in your control, what you desire out of it. This cube never made us any happier.

My life is all blight thanks to this cube, all sunny and blight. Whoever thought up of those last 15 minutes in this sequel owes my whole heart and soul, Even if he didn't. In another universe I would've loved to clean laundry and do taxes with him :3
