Jessica Chastain is great in this film and continues to impress me as an actress. The narrative is where this film doesn’t fully work for me. It’s structured very simply to where everything is in your face & while this isn’t bad necessarily, nothing happens in this film that really wowed me at any point. This film is fine and Chastain is enough to merit a watch from anyone, but I’m left feeling like the movie was sort of empty in the end.. also just disgusting and uncomfortable.
