Assholes isn’t really like any other movie I’ve seen in a long time. It’s disgusting and shocking, but sometimes it’s also hilarious. I keep looking for some kind of deeper meaning about being an addict or sexual liberation, but I can’t find one. I think this movie is just about a couple of assholes addicted to poppers running wild in the streets. The lead actress and actor are brave—the ass eating scene took some guts and commitment. The strangest and grossest part of this film, however, is that the lead actress, the director, and the parents are a real life family. Now that is disturbing.
