My new oldest movie I’ve ever seen (although I’n sure that won’t last long) absolutely blew me away, I don’t even know what I was expecting going in but I wasn’t anticipating having this much fun. The group of girls is iconic and the legendary Barbara Stanwyck was great, my first movie of hers and it just makes me want to see more. Same thing for Henry Fonda as I know he’s one of the most renowned actors ever and I’ve somehow never seen a movie of his until now, very fun performance from him too alongside Stanwyck. Witty, funny comedic dialogue and a genuinely interesting murder mystery story with a nice romance plotline, simply couldn’t have asked for more.
