It had the right idea but was horrendously executed. First off The acting is terrible, which really draws away from the film. The characters are all so boring and cliche, like why do they have literally no personality. The cinematography is trash, nine times out of ten, I have no idea what the fuck is going on, it’s either so dark I can’t see shit or so shaky I feel nauseous. I did find the predator alien hybrid pretty cool though and I liked the war between the townspeople and the aliens. Cool ideas there. Anything to do with the military in this movie was terrible. They really needed some military member there to say that this was stupid and not to do that. Don’t even get me started with the use of night vision like shit, they had it then never used it really, they’re just peering into the darkness without looking through the night vision sight then when they were using it, they turned on the fucking lights which makes them obsolete in real life, but hey it’s just a movie right. The amount of hipfiring with an endless magazine got very tiresome and started to piss me off. Anyways don’t wanna rewatch but might.
