One of my red flags is that my favorite character has always been Vince (the salesman) who was a total jerk

Watching this and Evil Dead Rise in the space of a couple days are why people need to stop making fun of me for preferring to walk 10 flights of stairs when I was at uni than use the lift that used to constantly break down for no reason.
Anyway, this was surprisingly decent for what it is. It's premise is probably better than some of it's execution and I guessed the Devil almost straight away (it's the funniest option tbf and that's what I always go for), but I had a good time considering it's literally my number one nightmare scenario - well the lift part anyway, not necessarily the devil part.

A week after I watched this movie, I went to a doctors appointment for my mom, we used the elevator went leaving and there was an energy outage right when we were in the elevator with 3 more people so we were exactly 5, just like in the movie. I thought omg the devil is here but 5 seconds later the backup generator kicked in and we were free.

maybe im crazy but i enjoyed this movie!! in a weird way it reminded me a bit of as above so below, with everyone suffering because of their "sin", but maybe its cuz im not religious so these movies dont hit any weird nerve
i did zone out in some parts and the acting is not the best but still, not that bad!
