The head of a failing French family thinks that fate has smiled down on him when the daughter of a wealthy man agrees to be married to his son. The daughter and her aunt then travel out to the French countryside to meet with the family, unaware that a mysterious 'beast' is stalking the vicinity.

Hard to make sense of. Has some very strong shots in its erotic moments but seems unsure of where to take it's camera in its story focused beats. The montage editing is messy, but in a charming way where the disorientating feeling of it adds to the experience.

I think movies have gotten a bit prude over the years. But I mean maybe that’s not the worst. I could have done with a little less 🐴🍆 and 🐺🍆. But at the core is a great art house film.
