Black Swan is one of the best psychological thrillers I've ever seen; it's virtually perfect, and though I like Perfect Blue a bit more, I still think this film is amazing. I think this is Natalie Portman's best performance (although I confess I haven't seen all of her filmography), and apart from Vincent Cassel I really liked everyone's acting. 'Swan Lake' is one of my favourite ballets, and Act 2: No. 10 Scène. Moderato is one of my favourite classical pieces of all time, so of course I loved the way the music and dances were woven into the plot, characters and beautiful outfits and makeup. I did get a bit confused around halfway through the film, but everything became clear to me by the end, which I appreciated because I'm not a fan of loose ends/unexplained content. I'm mad at myself for not watching Black Swan sooner, because this is truly an amazing piece of cinema.
