I loved Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot. It was a little confusing at first, but as the story progressed I was completely absorbed in John Callahan's journey. Joaquin Phoenix was excellent as Callahan; there was so much emotion behind his performance that I cried several times. Jonah Hill surprised me because I'm so used to his comedic roles, but he absolutely nailed the character of Donny. The camerawork was great and made the film feel almost like a documentary with close-up shots and angle changes. I loved the animations of the cartoons interspersed here and there too; they really brought John's works to life.
Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot was such a stirring experience and I'll be watching it again soon.
