I didn’t want to watch this one.
It was the only Ernesto Gastaldi written film that I could easily watch. It was only available on YouTube for goodness sake.
It’s one of those B-horror movies that really just fills you with an incredibly large sense of boredom after watching. I think that the name of this might place me on a watchlist now, but the werewolf part of it doesn’t show up for what feels like far too long.
The acting is fairly poor, the dialogue is clunky, and the ‘horror’, if you will call it that, is remotely non existent. When the werewolf finally decides to show up, the makeup looks like it’s from a primary school play, which would be fine if it didn’t try to take itself so seriously.
The only good thing is that the use of black and white allows for it to stand out from other films, allowing for the cinematography to be fairly decent at times.
But ultimately, it’s a slow and boring mess that struggles to stay afloat.
