I feel like I just watched a double feature of Wanda and Head.
A young blonde psychic & her hot boyfriend procure a large "plastic dome" through mail order, which they plop in the middle of the Ozarks, after which she conjures up a solid little rock & roll band (including a very young Sam Waterston, in his film debut) who try to exploit her skills, to a tragic end.
It was just so simple in its utter weirdness and Appalachian nihilism. I dug it.
