Had to watch this with someone talking over it which was annoying considering it was the most unfunny boring ass guy you could hear. The short itself was alright, very weird and won’t watch again just needed it for my carpenter watch. There’s signs here of the career he’ll have.

Honestly a really fun student film to watch as a huge fan of Carpenter. This is clearly such a huge set up for his first 4 movies and therefore rest of his career. The parody of Dark Star, the grit and tone of Someone’s watching me, and the plot and story of a stalker in the shadows is clearly seen in both Someone’s watching me and Halloween. I’ve seen a few director’s student films and this is one of my favorites for sure!
