Skyscraper is just like every other film starring The Rock, except that instead of an outdoor jungle it's set in an indoor one. It's a lot of very generic dialogue combined with a very formulaic plot, and after a while it all becomes mind-numbingly dull. I will say, some of the action sequences are pretty well-choreographed, and the structure and interior design of the Pearl before it sets on fire are stunning, but they're mostly overshadowed by the extremely mediocre performances from the cast and boring story. I don't think I'm the target audience for this film, and I'm not sure I'd rewatch it unless I want to switch my brain off completely.
