I wanted so badly to like this movie more than I did. Unfortunately, it had no sense of pacing, cardboard characters, and entirely lacked a coherent timeline of events.
Melanie Griffith was delightful as always, a definite bright spot in the film, and I honestly think the Constitutional Amendments sung to the tune of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" scene should be shown in AP U.S. History and/or AP Government classes, but on the whole, unless you have a compulsive need to watch romantic comedies like I do, I think you can safely skip this flick.
