watched this on a whim (thank god for free youtube movies). im really glad that i did.
what a satisfying ending to a rather unfortunate romance. i truly thought it would become your average "love conquers all" type of story where everything is immediately resolved, but i was quite surprised, and appreciative, by the turn it took. i definitely want to read the book at some point and see if it is as good as a read.
leigh is so charming as catherine, i also loved maggie smith as lavinia. definitely laughed out loud a few times at her little quips.
