Boring, poor use of talent, preachy, and self-important. If you’re an old white person who watches the cable news religiously you might enjoy this, otherwise, watch anything else from any of these actors.

The movie is critical of war but never has anyone meaningfully oppose it. What the movie ends up really doing is giving pro-war voices a soapbox and then just saying that it disagrees through Streep and Redford’s characters. No argument is made, it’s just pro-war sentiment met with tepid resignation.
