If I find a sci fi rom com I’m gonna watch it. I thought this one was gonna be a personal test like, if I like this I’ll like any time travel romance movie out there because the reviews made me think it wouldn’t be any good. Well I either pass or failed the test depending on how you look at it because I thought this was a good movie.

I like the main character I think I’m probably just dumb and have a hard time separating people from their other roles but it felt like he was playing a similar character to Otis who he plays in sex education. I don’t really know what about the characters were similar so that makes me lean towards being dumb but I definitely got a similar vibe from this movie as I did from that show. (Fun fact: he is also the little boy from the boy in the striped pajamas (not Shmuel but the other one))

Autistic coded man + ADHD coded woman + time travel & manipulation taking away the woman’s agency.

I like the cast, but this is just the 2006 Adam Sandler movie Click with college co-eds.

And as a sidenote, I’m a firm believer that everyone can sing, it’s just a matter of how well they do it, but it does strike me as weird to make singing the character’s lifegoal when she’s just okay.
