this is probably my least favourite type of movies cause its only purpose is to make you feel empathy.
I understand the message but it could’ve been delivered so much better and in a more moving way, with something that would catch the intention of the public better and be more immersive. maybe they could’ve done that with something more impactful visually rather than emotionally. ik the whole point is for it to be emotional but I also think most people my age could not care less and will not be impacted by this film at all which is a pity cause it’s exploring an important and interesting topic. I feel like it was just yelling to me “care!” the whole time if that makes sense.
however most of the shots are really pretty, I enjoyed that part. still think they did a pretty good job even tho it didn’t resonate with me.

Genuinely had me flexing my muscles trying to urge the bike up the hill and was in despair after the car scene and hearing the bartering scene on the edge of town. When the clouds of dust were kicking up from the cars on the road, I wanted to cough. Powerful film
