Really had me thinking that this could be an all time new favorite until Angel Terminators became unexpectedly and uncharacteristically cruel and dark. Up until then, it was a larger than life crime story with a beautiful Kung fu lady cop in cute outfits in cool fights. It eventually pulls itself out of the darkness and back into an over the top martial arts movie for the finale, but the more humiliating moments slightly sour the proceedings.
