Flesh of the Void
Some really great imagery, too much sex but really good
Should check it out if you either like experimental movies like begotten

Interesting take on the premise, and again, surprisingly great imagery imo — too bad it’s so artsy and pretentious for almost the entire movie, which had me rolling my eyes the whole time

Striking imagery, transgressive ideas and powerful monochrome are promising, but sadly not enough to deter me from feeling nothing but contempt for the juvenile edgelords that made this film.

Flesh of the Void
Visually amazing at times & I loved the strange ambience soundtrack throughout! The film also plays out like a nightmare which I love, however so much of this just felt pointless and trying way to hard to be disturbing/edgy. So much of its runtime is just edgy crap that serves no real purpose which really is a shame. I do admire this film for being unique and transgressive, but in its execution it doesn’t work because of its poor writing. Not one I’d recommend unless you’re looking for a surrealist horror film, but still be warned as this one is very gross.
