Second film I’ve watched for my East Asian culture class. What we humans have inflicted upon ourselves is surreal sometimes.

More than anything this made me realize just how good wang bing is.
Though it take an often completely overlooked topic that being Chinese factory workers it lacks the full context of there lives. In wang bugs work we see full people under an impossible complex oppressive system.
Last train home realy just show us the suffering but not the people and I think It really suffers from stripping these people of being seen as real humans with complicated lives.
Any discussion or art on this topic is welcome and important but as filmmakers we much chose to frame our subject carefully.
