The moment I saw the "based on a true story" I knew Im Abt to bawl my eyes out. How can a film of love story be so romantic yet so sad? Oh hisashi the man you are, who's willing and committed to the woman you fell in love and waited for her to woke up from her "sleep" ,I really wished that a man like this exist a lot. The acting in here go crazy especially mio, tao is so talented with her acting I was mesmerized. There are so many things I love Abt this movie, especially where hasashi wouldn't give up on mio and visits her every morning despite his apartment and the hospital is 2 hours away, took videos of every single moment and send it to mio even though she's not aware yet. The part where hasashi made a promise to marry mio at their dream venue before she got into a coma, yet he still kept his promise while she's in her "sleep" for years continued and payed for it every year bcs he didnt want her to be sad that they had to cancel bcs she's in a coma :( freaking love this . The ending was perfect bcuz they finally got married at the dream venue he promised her after 8 years of bittersweet moments.
