Colmillo Blanco es una película q realmente no sé ni cuándo ni como descubrí esta película. Probablemente la encontré en un puesto de películas, m la llevé, la puse y la adopté cómo mi nueva película favorita, tanto así q la ponía todos los días.
Le tenía bastante coraje Rumpelstiltskin aguado q compraba a colmillo blanco. Igual y también entiendo la razón del porqué el líder de la tribu tuvo q venderlo, pero aún así estoy casi segura de q en su lugar yo no lo habría hecho. Porq vas a venderle a tu amigo y mascota a un tipo de cuestionables intenciones? 😭.

A generic and incredibly boring, uninteresting narrative, obnoxiously plain cardboard cutout characters, pretty poor animation and overall there is just nothing even remotely of note about this film aside from the occasionally pretty snowy scenery.

Yet to read the book
On its own the movie stands pretty well, the animation does start off a bit choppy although it gets endearing as it goes on. The Klondike gold rush era setting is really nice and the backgrounds are done really well too.
Slight pacing issues do affect the film as it is a bit slow, I think the sequencing is actually good but it does have scenes where not much happens, plus some weird cutaways to weirdly done scenes. Transitions inbetween some scenes kinda feel flat as well.
Some of the human face sculpts genuinely terrify me (White Fang is a bit off too in regards to his facial structure and general anatomy but that's something I can ignore) then again personally that adds to the viewing experience.
(The eyes for Maggie and Beauty Smith were way too big and that really took me out for their scenes, sharp contrast to Weedon's normal sized eyes).
Characters aren't exactly the most fleshed out, dialogue is a bit off at times. Character designs are something I liked overall though and the clothing seems period accurate but I am no expert.
