Трогательная и довольно грустная история от Джузеппе Торнаторе с постаревшим Марчелло Мастроянни со смешными очками в роли отца, пытающегося собрать всех своих детей вместе. Под конец просто дико грустно за него становится. Торнаторе использует необычные приёмы, как например останавливается толпа каждый раз когда отец ждёт когда ему ответят его сын или дочь, а русский или советский дубляж хз какой добавляет ещё атмосферу под это все.
