I don’t really know how I feel about this one, yeah it’s good and yeah it’s bad. All in all there’s more good than bad but for some stupid ass idea, they tried to make one of the main villains a quirky Asian sushi making assassin. Like what the hell are we doing having the bad guy geeking and gawking and fanboying all of Mr. Wick. I was lowkey getting second hand embarrassment watching those scenes. I also do feel like the choreography is a little worse in this one, it felt kind of repetitive, like it felt like they had extra glass laying around and they were like let’s see how many we can through John wick through. Also the desert scene was weird, like how the hell did he just randomly find him, they be like don’t think about it. The horses not going fucking crazy when a gun was shot like 10 feet away is ridiculous plus the who killed by the hoof situation, kinda stupid. I don’t know, I feel like this one just didn’t take itself as seriously as the others before number 3. It’s still a solid flick though just not up to snuff on the first two and the creative liberties don’t match mine in this one.
