lance reddick was having the time of his life reading some of these lines
(enjoyable in some aspects but often muddled and relies a lot on some harmful horror tropes, including the topic of my dissertation, which is in part about our general cultural habit aligning facial difference with immorality and inhumanity, which extends well beyond horror content and exists in every form and genre of media but is especially prevalent in horror! funny because i also watched house of wax today and it did the same thing)
