Sometimes you have to take a step back and think, what in the world am I watching?

This film has pretty much no plot. It’s just a group of people that keep trying to eat a meal together, but something always interrupts them from doing so. It gets even more complicated with dreams, side character’s storylines, and everything in between. I also am definitely not intelligent enough to pick up on the deeper themes below the exterior of this film.
The dialogue is probably the only big standout for me. There countless conversations that occur between the wide variety of characters is a lot to handle, on top of that they are all interesting. Even when a soldier is telling stories about himself, you are still so invested.
At the end, you just are completely lost, and I kind of loved that.

P.S. How in the world did that restaurant not have tea, coffee, or milk?

this movie was peculiar but I enjoyed it a lot. I think most rich people genuinely live life this way and I will believe that until proven otherwise.😭

also im using this movie to try to get better at watching foreign films bc i have a rlly hard time processing subtitles 💔💔💔 but I got used to it after awhile of watching which is good and I understood what was going on for the most part (bc this movie is weird af LOL)
