I read Ray Bradbury’s Something Wicked This Way Comes earlier this month, so when I found out about the existence of this cartoon (narrated by the author himself, btw), I definitely took it as a sign.
I went in blind, and all I can say is that I wish I had watched The Halloween Tree as a kid – it would’ve been one of my core memories.
The animation style feels incredibly comforting even though this was my first watch, it carries a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. It’s not scary, but I’m really glad I chose to watch this for this year’s Halloween.
