God I can’t help but cry whenever I watch this. Unironically this film makes me so proud to be from Dagenham and I’m not ashamed to say it anymore.
The sheer solidarity oozing from the crevices of this film is immense and it’s beautiful. Giving the tough times of today and the do-nothing Labour government under Kier Starmer, I think we could all do with a good watch of this film to refresh our memories on how we should act in times like this, in solidarity with our comrades and taking real action in life.
“Workers of the world unite.”
