why don't you grow a flower, that blossoms through the year?
Very few movies appear so seemingly mundane yet manage to wrench your heart so profoundly. Payal Kapadia has mastered the delicate art of capturing melancholy and the beauty of nothingness. No logical reason as to why this movie evokes nostalgia in me while watching something as simple as two people conversing in Nepalese. Absolutely beautiful.
