Favourite Greek myth adaption :(((

I think the casting of this is so perfect, genuinely the best Agamemnon and Odysseus I’ve seen. Iphigenia’s actress was also incredible. 

Also I feel like this movie does such an excellent job of portraying the army frenzy and how powerless Agamemnon truly was in the situation. People love blaming the whole situation on Agamemnon when really what could he have done? He has literally thousands of men trapped on an island, overheating, and ready to fight. Plus you can’t just deny a god a sacrifice.

Also the end with a close up of Clytemnestra 🙏🏻
