Disaster strikes when a criminal mastermind reveals the identities of all active undercover agents in Britain. The secret service can now rely on only one man - Johnny English. Currently teaching at a minor prep school, Johnny springs back into action to find the mysterious hacker. For this mission to succeed, he’ll need all of his skills - what few he has - as the man with yesterday’s analogue methods faces off against tomorrow’s digital technology.

Johnny English Strikes Again
Unfortunately this sequel lacks the humorous ingenuity of the previous film in this franchise. It has its moments, the tear gas missile at French cyclists or the VR mishap, but the rather bland and formulaic story structure meant a heavy reliance on the humour to carry the brunt of the film. The ending also doesn’t tie up the story neatly, just a crude wrap up that neglects subplots with the supporting characters like Ophelia (Olga Kurylenko) or the Prime Minister (Emma Thompson) to list a few. Overall slightly disappointing given how much fun the previous film was.
