**Agnes Varda
**A woman must not be defined by the onlooker, by men's eyes, by men who have oppressed her; by her father, husband, lover, brother who look at her.
She, who's gotten used to it, to existing through that look, her mirror.
The first feminist gesture is to say: "Okay, they're looking at me. But I'm looking at them." The act of deciding to look, of deciding that the world is not defined by how people see me but how I see them.
!!
**Paule Baillargeon
**Women haven't had the leisure of real desire. We were told what to desire. We were forced for hundreds and thousands of years, and that's all in us, that heritage.

**Liliana Cavani
**I don't like dialogues that much. I prefer what can be expressed through images. In a relationship, I don't think it's necessary to talk all the time. What's interesting is the moment of expression and how express ourselves with our body.
