Glazer needs to make more movies IMO

I feel like this was an over-simplistic view on predator starts caring for their prey. I thought they could've gone more into gender dynamics with this setup. Made the same point for over half the movie and overall just fell really short imo.

Did I understand this film? No. Did Scarlett Johansson slay as always? Absolutely.

this was amazing. watching something not of this earth discover empathy and physical connection in such a haunting and alluring way is truly.. just wow. 

HOWEVER !!! this movie was literally so visually dark that watching it in the middle of the day probably involved losing some on screen details. maybe a rewatch is necessary.

Finally watched this again in anticipation of Zone of Interest. Lately I've been interested in rewatching movies I had to watch for my film degree, and this was way better this time. I, unfortunately, had to multi-task during my first watch (as I usually have to do during a semester), but this current semester hasn't gotten busy yet so I was able to give this my full attention. It's a lot slower and pensive than I remember it being but I think it totally pays off in the back half. I also appreciate how minimal and pulled back everything is-I just think it's refreshing. But that final sequence was nuts (in a good way).
