The main actress is exactly what I imagined Kristy Thomas to look like.
The movie was cute but idk about that thing at the end with the brother and the dads girlfriend

Another Joan Micklin Silver!!!
I love a wacky silly dramedy about a dysfunctional family where events transpire which would absolutely bring any real family to its knees and irreparably damage relationships therein beyond repair but it's a movie so it ends with everyone living laughing and loving like CPS shouldn't be on the way and everyone shouldn't be getting a divorce. Crazy ass movie. Josh was hot as fuck.

If these are the best years of my life, I must have some serious third-degree burns in my future.Based on the title and description, I was hoping for something closer to Adventures in Babysitting. Instead, most of this takes place at a lakeside campground and on mountain roads/truck stops… not quite as thrilling. There are some nice shots due to all the nature around, but the characters and story are so low stakes it just didn’t keep my attention.

My mom’s cousin plays the main character. Little Ben Savage is also the best.
