I struggled with the narrative structure with this. It was like watching the highlights of a sports match. You get all the critical moments in one neat package but you certainly don't feel like you get put through the same kind of emotional ringer as you would watching the whole match. Carrington feels like we just got the highlights and weren't given enough to build enough of a connection to anything, not enough tension or build up, never got to sit in enough of the moments... except here the highlights went for 2 hours.
Great Michael Nyman score.
