"I'm sorry."
Anne Charlotte Robertson provides us with a series of apologies in this 16 min film.
The film resonates through the apologies that feel sincere yet it seems to me I question of whether she is sorry or not. That to me, resonates as well in our human selves. We always feel sorry of what we did, yet sometimes it may seem that we are sorry, but it doesn't seem genuine when we continue to repeat the same "mistake" we did. We always apologize to ourselves and others because of our self pity.

what else could I write?
I don't have the right
what else should I be?
all apologies
In psychology, there is a method of paradoxical intention, the essence of which is to consciously strengthen or continue one's symptoms or undesirable behavior in order to eventually get rid of them. this is a deliberate hyperbolization of your obsessive thoughts and fears. I watched two films by Anne Charlotte Robinson, 'Suicide' and 'Apologies', both of which reminded me of this. Charlotte treats filmmaking as a means of therapy, constantly apologising to the camera for anything until it becomes pointless and her reasons for shame become absurd, even to her.> as someone who has problems with excessive shame, I would also like to try to do this. I apologize for not having the words to describe each film I log here. I apologize to my mom for me not being a perfect student and often skipping classes. I apologize to people from my past for not always behaving properly. I apologize for my laziness and inability to follow even a basic routine sometimes. I'm sorry that I don't write my script every day and have been writing it for so long. I'm sorry that I often say sorry for no reason at all. I apologize for waiting for apologies from people who are incapable of them. and I'm not apologizing for this review. I hate apologies. and I never want to feel the need to say them again. society always expects women to be ashamed of everything
