shunned, vulnerable and distressed, Alanis manages to capture a lot of these feelings in the film's shots and colour. i love the reflection shots, it seems to be like a metaphor for losing touch with oneself and trying to remind oneself of reality.
there isn't much of a plot really but rather just a journey of Alanis as she tries to navigate her life over the course of a few weeks (?) because she's lost her house and now she doesn't know where to go. with her baby still being so young, and his caretaker being detained. it was a little underwhelming in terms of plot and not a big fan of the ending either. but these experiences are all so real. the acting was pretty great and i'm so impressed by the baby.
